Sanitation is in crisis. Children die everyday from diseases caused by irregular toilets. A place that must be clean, be private and safe is often the opposite
WHO WE ARE
Since 2008, RENOVARSE, as an organization, tries to solve the crisis of lack of sanitation. Located in Argentina, we turn our focus into the poorer cities of our country and offer them our help. This way, we can find the ideal way to provide them with proper toilet services.

Units for Public Spaces

The USG1 model was projected for large public spaces, such as public plazas or parks, that have constant demand. They contain everything in just one place: toilets, showers for men, women, children and people with disabilities, with access to laundry machines and supplies to clean their clothes.
Unit for Villa María

Originally designed for the municipalities of Villa María and Villa Nueva in Córdoba, Argentina, these units are specially designed with showers and bathrooms to improve tourism activities in the sector. 2 types of units are proposed, one for adults and one for children.
HEALTH UNITS FOR CHILDREN

Proposing alternatives so that the little ones can also have access to a safe bathroom
The use and custom has made us forget that in public toilets, in addition to the space used by and for men and women there could also be a differentiated part for children. And, there could also be an special area for minors, equipped only with baby changing tables; that, as for now, they are always placed in the women's toilet, linking this task exclusively to the mother. It is important to change this social custom, and for that it is important that we rethink the spaces that we
collectively use daily. From RENOVARSE, we think that public restrooms should contain a
space where the little ones can learn, in their earlier stages of life, thehabit of sanitation, which is linked to health and personal care. This habit helps not only a increase of public health (since many diseases are spread due to lack of cleanness) but equity and inclusion, too.
It is also important to note that this space fulfills the function of a safe place, where everything is focused on children and that any adult can accompany the child. This benefits social inclusion, where children with assembled families or diversity of situations and diversity of abilities use this space in the same way with any responsible adult. Creating a place, not
of segregation, but of approach and understanding. The customs have made us forget that in public toilets, in addition to the space for men and women there should also be a differentiated part for children.
Terminal Unit

The USG 2 model is designed for places with heavy traffic and immediate demand, such as airports or bus terminals. They are equipped to guarauntee greater user comfort. It has different floor than the others, with two receptions for each bathroom, but still maintains the original concept.
Unit for Airports and Terminals

Specially designed for Ezeiza International Airport, Argentina. This model contains a number of showers for men and women, specially designed to improve the user’s stay during their long trips.
Community bathrooms and showers

This model has a different concept, with radial distribution and thus better control over use. Designed for public spaces, especially outdoors, such as squares or corridors.
Disassembled Units

This model contains various technologies for the place where it is implanted, prioritizing it to be disassembled, and quickly be built or disassemble for emergencies. For hard-to-reach spaces that need a unit temporarily, it can be built or unbuilt by local people.

OUR PROJECTS

UNITS FOR PUBLIC SPACES
The USG1 model was projected for large public spaces, such as public plazas or parks, that have constant demand. They contain everything in just one place: toilets, showers for men, women, children and people with disabilities, with access to laundry machines and supplies to clean their clothes.

SANITARY UNITS IN CONTAINERS
Mobile Units can easily be implanted in places that have difficult access to services. Ideal for areas that have been through a catastrophe. work areas such as in high mountains and others, such as crowed events. Our design counts with individual bathrooms and showers and an integrated engine room, which provides hot and cold water.

OUR MISSION
RENOVARSE aims to solve inadequate sanitation we can often find in public restrooms with innovative ideas. To achieve that, we designed sanitary units which can easily be installed in difficult areas (devastated due to natural disasters, poor). By using proper technology, difficulties can be solved.

OUR VISION
Our final goal is to be able to build units all over the world; devastated, contaminated or poor areas being our most important objective, due to the fact that these areas is where water and sanitation are needed the most. By presenting this project as a possible solution, when it starts to roll out, more and more people will have access to a healthier life.

OUR VALUES
Sanitation is a human right. Generating consciousness about this is the begging of a long trip to achieve social equality, as well as building a healthy and respectful society.
